| Airborne Multispectral System
OKSI has integrated a multiple camera airborne imaging system for applications in remote sensing for precision agriculture.![]() Airborne cameras system in alignment mount, front & back views Unique features: The system comprises up to four 1024×1024 pixels frame transfer cameras that are internally synchronized to acquire data simultaneously. In addition the system contains a small color sighting video camera, and an IR imager. Data are read to PC memory via two frame grabber boards. Synchronization is accomplished by using the clocks of one camera to drive both frame grabbers. The system has been flying since June 1998 producing 1-meter resolution data. Spectral bands are selected by placing a band pass filter in front of each camera. Filters simulating the LandSat TM are typically used. ![]() Flight Package integrated by USDA/ARS
