U.S. Pat. #5796106 "ICE AND LIQUID DETECTOR" applications developed are: adaptive defrost controls for refrigerator freezers; wing ice detectors for aircraft; rain, frost, ice, snow, moisture, dust, salt and ambient light sensors for windshields; anti-fog moisture-sensing heated bathroom mirrors and heated automotive exterior rear-view mirrors; remote-sensing rain, frost, snow and ice weather alerts, as well as sensors for other solid/liquid discriminators.

Prototypes have been tested by OEMs and Carco Pty Ltd seeks to license contract mass production of custom infrared (IR) optoelectronic integrated circuits (OEICs). Our R&D experience is available for any of the above applications and we have excellent U.S. contacts to design and manufacture custom products.

Carco Pty Ltd was founded in 1984 by Raymond J. Noack to develop and manufacture Infra-Red (I-R) products after patents were granted for the "Control Apparatus" (U.S. Pat. #4,355,271) windshield sensor in Australia, Europe, Japan and USA. As well as infrared (IR) sensor R&D, Carco Pty Ltd manufactures automotive and mining airconditioning electronic climate controls and patented electronic radiator low coolant alarms for the Australian and export markets.
