Hinds Instruments manufactures photoelastic modulators (PEMs) and birefringence measurement instrumentation (Exicor™). PEMs operate in the vacuum UV to mid-IR spectral regions. PEMs provide polarization modulation for applications such as Stokes polarimetry, chopping and spectroscopy.
