James Cohen Consulting, P.C. offers to both domestic and overseas clients independent project advisory engineering services, of particular importance for overseas construction including oversight services for design and construction. Risk reduction is provided through expert engineering reviews of designs, quality assurance/quality control procedures, contracts and specifications to provide a higher level of confidence in repair, rehabilitation, or new construction. Specialized engineering services such as natural disaster mitigation, blast design, wind engineering, testing and monitoring are also provided.
Evaluation of individual and corporate local and national capabilities in design, fabrication, supply and construction may be undertaken in the host country to assure overseas partners' abilities to meet agreed standards as these relate to built facilities. Particular attention is given towards ensuring that proposed design specifications are compatible with these capabilities.
