Opto Diode Corporation was established in 1981 as an independent, privately held corporation whose mission is to supply the highest power IRLED's available in the world. Our state-of-the-art high power IRLED's are used in photo controls, optical encoders, night vision systems and auto-focusing cameras. Hi-Rel IRLED's are available for aerospace, space and neutron radiation hard systems. We have supplied IRLEDs which are in operation on the space shuttle, F/A-18 aircraft and weather satellites.
